Meet Randy Murry with New Age Cattle Company
Today we talk with Randy Murry from New Age Cattle Co. about the value of females in your herd, herd sire selection and the importance of culling. New Age Cattle Company i owned and operated by Randy Murry, who has over 25 years experience in breeding, raising and promoting registered cattle, selecting genetics and producing his own elite cattle since he was 13 years old. New Age Cattle Company assumed Stockton/Burton Ranches at the end of 2022 to carry on the legacy of this combined 70 year breeding program. The New Age herd is now the largest registered Texas Longhorn herd in the world, numbering over 1,000 head of mature breeding females.
